The evening will include lectures by Carroll college professors - a historian, a philosopher and a composer - each addressing how Arnold Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire came to be and how the masterpiece impacted music in the future. Following the lecture will be a complete performance of the piece, and a question and answer session with reception.
